Hello Sandy,

I'm glad you found us here. Congrats on your explant! You will see many changes both in appearance and strength over the next several weeks and months. You are still early out. Be kind and pamper yourself now after major surgery and your body will pay you back with renewed strength in the days to come. For some of us, it can take a lot longer to heal. You should see welcoming changes as time goes on.  Sometimes after explant, the surgery "stirs" up everything and you will have flulike symptoms for awhile. The night sweats could be part of this. Do you mind if I ask your age?  Treat yourself good, eat well (lots of veggies and fruit) and drink pure water. This will help to flush out the toxins in your body. You can see changes for 6 months and up to a year in the appearance of your breasts. Be patient. Many of us looked pretty sad after our surgery, especially those like myself with little breast tissue. You will experience what we call "fluffing" or the tissue filling back in and plumping up.  After being squashed down by implants for the last sevearl years, your breasts need to "remember " where to go to so to speak. You could also be dealing with an adhesion. This is also pretty common for some of us. Give it sometime. It may resolve on its own given the chance. Wait and see. Every week you should see some progress even if only a little at first. I had a rather big adhesion and it took almost a year for it to fill out, but it did. For now, be happy that your implants are a thing of the past. Hopefully, you will get your health back or most of it. I like you suffer from IBS and I also have shogrens. Restasis has helped to a large degree. I hope the same for you. Probiotics and  a good yogurt can help with your IBS. I am hoping that you will begin feeling better again.

Any other questions? Just ask. Someone here will be happy to try and help. I am sure you will meet some of our other gals shortly. I tend to be the earlybird here. Welcome to our forum. we hope you come back and visit often.

Best Regards,
Gracie
