Hello, thank you for having this support group. I am 41 have three children and have had silicone textured gel implants for just over 2 years. I have been having weird pains in my left breast, and I have decided to have them explanted after reading an article on another site by a woman called CJ who documented her story. I always felt uncomfortable about having something "foreign" in my body. My anxiety about this has grown since I lost my mother in 2008 to lung cancer. I feel now...

I had my explant surgery yesterday and am thrilled to be "silicone" free. Surgery went well and I was able to sleep last night without too much difficulty.

I have a question for you - Did any of you take Arnica Montana after explant? If so, do you think it helps speed recovery?

Does anyone have any information on the new mentor silicone gel implants that have only been approved in the U.S. for a year or so?? It would be nice to read more current stories. It just seems to be what they are pushing now. Thanks Terri

My PS called and said I could get in on June 9th, which was 4 days ago. The surgery went very well. I had my first post op and couldn't look. Hi everyone, I'm new here, and have been reading the posts with great interest. I've had 300 cc under the muscle breast implants for 7 years now. For probably the past 5 years, I've had on going neck and back pain. It's become somewhat chronic now. I know I have some structural problems in my spine, but am wondering if the implants are making it worse? I know if I ask a PS, they would poo poo my question. They seem to think the size isn't large enough to cause pain....

Ladys,,, I wanted to bring this up for I have been experiencing very strange break outs. The best way to describe them is,,,it starts as a small ball,, very hard I have one under my arm and one on my stomach right now,,,It hurts alot and I use a warm compress to try and loosen it up,,,,it never comes to the surface and just keeps draining clear but I can see a big white ballish thing and its driving me crazy and they hurt!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to share my story so that hopefully one other person reads this, and doesn't feel alone. When I was searching daily to find a commonality with others, someone I could relate to, I couldn't find too many people in my situation.
